Designing UI for Fast Game Feedback

How we make HUDs, menus, and player feedback systems readable without killing the mood of a game.

Game UI should support action, not interrupt it.

That means status changes, rewards, and interaction states need to be readable in motion while still matching the visual tone of the world.

What we focus on

  1. Clear hierarchy during moment-to-moment play
  2. Consistent icon and motion behavior
  3. Minimal friction in heavy system screens
